Class Description:
My class is made up of 14 eager, excited 5 and 6 year olds who are ready to learn. They bring imagination and energy to the classroom and each day they make me smile and teach me something new.

I would like 5 or 6 sturdy, kid-friendly digital cameras for the kids to use to take pictures.
My Philosophy:
I believe that you don't need to spend a lot of money and have a lot of stuff to give children a great education. I want to use technology to tap into my students' creativity and harness their enthusiasm for making sense of their worlds.

About Me:
This is my 10th year of teaching. I have taught children as young as 2 and as old as 14. I am a lifelong learner myself and my ultimate goal is to inspire a love of learning in my students.

Reading, book discussion groups, gardening, photography, technology in education, spending time with my family.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because it is the best job I have ever had. While there is a lot of work involved, it doesn't seem like work to me.
