Class Description:
I teach the following courses: DigitalMedia: Beginning Graphic Design and Photography DigitalMedia II - Further Study with an emphasis on multimedia skills. Digital Media I and II (YB): Same intent but with an emphasis put on completing a yearbook. Video Productions: Students learn Adobe Premiere to create their own videos. IndependentProjects in Media: Seniors plan a semester's work including a finished Web or Adobe Pro Portfolio.

Needs:
GOOD cameras for all my students. I have one Rebel XTi, one Cannon SD, three Nikon Sureshots. Four ancient digitals that I can't remember the names of because my students refuse to use them they are so bad. I long for 4 digital SLR cameras and 13 digital high end point and shoots.
My Philosophy:
Learn By Doing!!! Students are given introductory tutorials for each unit, then given project goals. Examples of projects are Corporate Identity Packages, Collages, Song Lyric Interpretations, Newsletters, and of course, the Yearbook.

Why Do I Teach?:
Teenagers do give you a certain energy. I teach because I enjoy working with the teens.
