Middle school students in grades 5-8 in a rural area school district.
Position:
Library Media Specialist
Needs:
Encarta for a digital encyclopedia for our library where we have 15 student computers.
My Philosophy:
I believe in giving the students options and we only have print encyclopedias at this time, which are dated. I want to provide the students with current information in addition to making it easier for some of the students to research. Researching for information should be an enjoyable experience where a student may have an "aha" moment.
