Class Description:
A third grade inclusion classroom that consists of 8 SLD students and 11 regular education students.
Position:
Teacher
Needs:
The needs consist of materials that support children with learning and physical disabilities who are low achievers in reading and/or math.
My Philosophy:
I feel that all students have the ability to learn and it is my responsibility, as their teacher, to teach them what they need to know to become lifelong learners in this ever changing world.
Personal Information:
About Me:
I am the mother of a 12 year old daughter. I have been married to a wonderful man for 21 years and look forward to many more.
College and Degrees:
I have a B.A. in Elementary Education and I will graduate in a few months with my Masters Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology.
Activities:
I love working in the garden at home and at school. I also like walking and riding my bike with my family.
Favorite Books:
My favorite books are the Little House series.
Interests:
I love technology!
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because it is my passion. I love the kids and being able to share with them the knowledge that I have aquired through the years and showing them how to apply it in life.
