Personal Information:
About Me:
I have been an Early Childhood teacher for the past 22 years with the Lubbock Independent School District. I have a teenage son that is 17 and a junior in high school. I am a new aunt to two foster girls that my sister and brother-in-law adopted last November. I love holidays, teaching, but most importantly being a mom.
College and Degrees:
Ok;ahoma College of Business and Technology - Associate Degree in Business EasternNew Mexico University - Bachelor of Science in Education Degree Specialty Area - Early Childhood
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I can influence each and every child everyday. For some the school day is the only safe part of their world, and in that safe haven of school, I help a child learn and possibly change the path they are on and empower them to be a significant force in this world. I teach early childhood to provide that firm foundation for the rest of their school years.
