Kutztown Elementary School
Class Information:
Room Number: 404
Students per Class: 22
Class Description:
We live in a rural college town with an eclectic mix of students with a wide range of backgrounds.
Position:
fourth grade teacher
Needs:
Our classroom really needs up-to-date technology. We would make great use of more classroom computers, a better projector, speakers, a Smart Board, or Flip video cameras. As the teacher of these students, I have received lots of training in the use of technology in the classroom, but don't always have the resources to make this knowledge useful in our classroom.
My Philosophy:
I believe that school should be safe, fun, and engaging. We need to teach students 21st century skills that will prepare them for life after school. We also need to be teaching safe and responsible use of technology in school because our students are already exposed to so much technology at home with minimal supervision.
