Class Description:
I am a brand new teacher straight out of college and I have a class of 24 students who are very diverse. Although the community is not considered "low-poverty" there are very little resources when it comes to technology. I was trained to incorporate and integrate technology into nearly every subject I teach. I was very excited to start teaching and use the skills I had learned but was disappointed to find that I only had 2 computers, a very old printer, a VCR that barely works and a TV that goes "wacko" every now and again. I have an ELMO and projector but no projector screen and access to a computer lab once a week. However I would like to incorporate more technology into my curriculum.

My Philosophy:
I believe that all children want to and can learn. I believe that all children learn differently and the need is for engaging lessons are becoming extremely apparent. I want to teach children how to embrace and use technology to its fullest potential. I believe that technology can bridge many gaps within the learning environment and can help to further educational goals. All children want to learn and it's our job to guide them.
