I am piloting a technology based classroom called the "Infinity Classroom." I teach three sections of 5th grade math each day, and one section of Social Studies.

Needs:
We are a very rural school district in dire need of more, and more recent, computers. We are also in need of software to use on these computers to improve student performance.

About Me:
I'm a hometown girl teaching in my hometown district! I love working with kids and I love technology.... so my current job is the perfect mix.
College and Degrees:
B.S. in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education from Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, PA (Go Blue Jays!)
Activities:
I love photography, scrapbooking, using the computer, trail biking, jogging, spending time with friends and family, painting, dreaming, spending time at the ocean

I have taught in the South Eastern School District for 5 years, 4 years as a Learning Support Teacher (Special Education) and one year as a Regular Education Math teacher
Why Do I Teach?:
It sounds so cliche... but I love kids, plain and simple.
