Class Description:
All of the students failed the math component of the EOG. I have a range of race, income level, learning styles and learning levels. I have male and female with students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.

Needs:
I need hands on materials. We only have 3 computers, I feel the students would be excited about a smart board. I need materials that would help me to get the students to see math from angle.
My Philosophy:
My students are not dumb, they are just disengaged. My goal is to spend the time and effort to really get to know my students. Most of my students have not experienced success in the school setting. I know that if I can change their attitude about math, I can show the beauty of math
