Needs:
Where do I begin? Speech and Language, gross and fine motor, reading, writing, math, social skills, life skills, safety, behavior..... The list could go on. The reason I am applying for a digital wish is because many of the needs I have in my classroom can be addressed with technology I do not have and cannot afford.
My Philosophy:
My philosophy is ever changing with one goal in mind: help students with cognitive disabilities maximize their potential to as independently of an adult as possible. This can only happen when their education is individualized not only for their disabilities, but their interests and strengths so we can build an educational system around the student, and not just mold the student to our educatinoal system.
