My Philosophy:
I believe learning needs to be engaging and hands on, so I use art as a means to explore the world in and outside of the classroom. Although, the title of my class is "Art," we discover connections between all disciplines, write about and document our experiences.

About Me:
I am young, vivacious artist hoping to inspire my students to teach themselves, so that I am merely the facilitator. I live in DC, I love to cook. I am also a freelance photographer on the side.

Duke University, BA in Cultural Anthropology and Documentary Studies.

Why Do I Teach?:
My philosophy of education is...Visual Arts creates innovative interconnectednessthroughout all disciplines, unifying seemingly opposing ideas in abstract or coherent forms. Multidisciplinaryexploration through the arts ignites intellectual creativity, the imagination, and self awareness while developing new perspectives through which to see the world. Such exploration gives students the onus to be in control of their education and intellectual decisions, making the process of creating art more valuable than the end result.
