Primarily Caucasian, middle class students who do not have the opportunity to travel or explore outside of the immediate area. Low student-teacher ratios translate to high interaction and understanding of the students' needs.

Want: At least three SmartBoards with ceiling-mounted projectors, updated laptops for all staff and faculty, two 20-laptop carts.
My Philosophy:
Students have their own reasons for learning based on their individual settings. Many students bring their personal knowledge of technology with them to the classroom; it isn't intuitive, therefore, to have a learning environment that puts archaic textbooks above other learning formats. Students should be allowed to use and broaden the skill sets they already possess, and then use those skills to help assimilate new information.
