I teach pullout groups from Kindergarten up to fifth grade. My main focus in on my third, fourth and fifth graders.

My Philosophy:
I think it is important to direct instruction to student interests. Students benefit when choice is given in class, whether that is choice in what they study or how they express learning.

About Me:
I am the mom of two lovely girls. I have a wonderful supporting husband. My family is very important to me.
College and Degrees:
Bachelors of Science from Radford University, Masters Degree from Radford University
Employment History:
I taught two years in Virginia in Floyd and Montgomery County. I taught 10 years for Durham Public School.
Why Do I Teach?:
I love children. They keep me young and on my toes. I find coming up with ways to motivate students enjoyable. I am always up for a good challenge and education provides many.
