I try for my classroom to be a safe place for learning. Where students get as much learning as possible, even though we have 4 old computers to share between 28 students.
Position:
5th Grade Bil. Homeroom teacher
Needs:
I would like to get 28 e-readers for my students to focus on reading comprehension and not on the size of the books or how many pages still to read in order to finish a book or a chapter.
Of course, these e-readers would have to be without a Wi-Fi connectivity. I want them to enjoy reading instead of navigating through internet.
In addition, I would like to have 4 computers in my classroom, with 28 students and only having two old computers is difficult for them to access the technology besides when they go to the computer lab, once a day for 25 minutes.
My Philosophy:
Through my teaching students discover the world.
