Rapid City Christian High Sch
Class Information:
Room Number: Annex 1
Students per Class: 13 students
Class Description:
Two classes of 13 students each. I use PowerPoint jeopardy games for much of review. Geography and history lend themselves well to much that is avaliable on the internet and interactive programs. Grammar benefits from interactive games and students learn more from interaction than lecture presentations.
Position:
Classroom teacher
Needs:
While our school has many financial needs, my classroom need is to have better interactive technology in my classroom.
My Philosophy:
Teaching, whether in a formal or informal setting, is one of the most important ways to say, “I believe in the future and I believe in you.” As I teach, I am investing a part of myself in each student who I have contact with. I believe that learning should be a life-long activity. There should never come a time in life when I believe I have learned all I can. I believe that God made us all in His image and yet with a diversity to being joy and life to this world. I strive in this life to not just live and learn but to become the best person I can be. As a teacher, I wish to pass this philosophy on to my students. I can do that as I teach them that they are important in God’s eyes and that He made them the way they are on purpose.
