Why Do I Teach?:
Teaching is a calling, not a job. I love to work with young people. They make me reevaluate my own philosophy of life and learning and they keep me young. There is nothing better than watching a student struggle at first and the magic moment when they figure out the concept or idea you are trying to get them to learn. When they make their own meaning out of the information they find - it is creation in thier hands.
The other reason is that kids today need to know that adults care for them. Many people are too busy to take time for kids, and if we don't make time for our kids, they will not see why they need to make time or give to others. we are all role models to our kids and we really need to be good role models.
