About Me:
I am the English classroom teacher for Kindergarten and First Grade students in our Chinese Dual Language program. I taught as an ESL teacher in Japan for 3 years, and also taught as a Dual Language teacher in our district's Spanish DL program. I am currently a student in the literacy cohort of UNC-Chapel Hill's Masters in Education for Experienced Teachers.

Duke University, Cross-Cultural Archaeology (Program II);
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, M. Ed Literacy expected 2011
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I love learning and thinking. I think all students need a teacher who will develop and deepen their passion for and understanding of the world around them. Watching my students become "life long learners" is a reward beyond any other!
