Class Description:
Our Video Communications students make short movies on a variety of topics. The first semester includes a short news story, commercial and action event. The second semester is a longer project involving interviews and animated films.
Position:
Technology and Business Education Teacher
Needs:
During the interviews and animated films, point and shoot cameras are needed. The students want to interview senior citizens in the Long Island area to develop an oral history project to be posted to the school's website.
My Philosophy:
Experience has shown me that technology is a great tool to bridge the generations. In this project students will learn and appreciate history and herstory.

About Me:
I taught elementary school (7 years), business and technology education in high school (7 years). During this time I have always shared my knowledge and love of technology with other teachers by teaching professional development classes.

New York Institute of Technology, Masters in Instructional Technology
