My Philosophy:
Students appreciate and retain science skills when they learn hands on. In order to truly prepare for a science major in college, students must be equipped with lab skills. In turn, this will result in more students successfully obtaining careers in science and technology. In a rapidly changing world, being able to compete in a cutting edge field will be essential to success. All of this can start with my Forensic Science class as a senior in high school - it needs to be challenging, require critical thinking, and students need to be able to access the most up to date equipment and technology.
Personal Information:
Why Do I Teach?:
Forensic Science. It is a CTE - Career and Technical Education - class, but is worth science credit as well.
