Sharp EL-500 Fraction Calculator, $263.67, 0.00% raised
Sharp EL-500 Fraction Calculator Rank:
Single Unit Why I need this:
The curriculum I teach integrates math and science. We often use math to analyze our class data to find trends. This becomes frustrating for students when many do not have a calculator to speed up the process. My students' families often cannot afford a calculator for their child. A class set of calculators would greatly improve the quality of my students' experience!

Why Do I Teach?:
Learning isn't easy for everyone. If you're one of those people who feel intimidated by science it can help to have a teacher who believes in you and encourages you even when you underestimate yourself. I teach because I want to help kids build confidence in themselves as capable and intelligent people with interesting and relevant ideas.
