Needs:
Our school was recently renovated and no plans for a computer lab were implemented. In past years I would take my students to the lab to do research for their papers and to teach them the use of Inpiration program (trademark). In the past teaching children how to outline large ammonts of materialgreatly increased their grades. It also was great for the special ed population as it held their attention and they were able to create their own outlines with minimal guidance. I no longer have this capability. My wish is to have at least 12 lap tops in my room so I can go on them on a weekly basis if not more.

About Me:
This is my 7th year of teaching. Previously I was a analytical chemist at Kodak research labs. After that I was a Podiatrist for 15 years and got tired of fighting with insurance companies. I decided that I needed a profession where I could still help people and society. I chose middle school because I believe at this age you can still make a significant impact on a childs interest in learning and work ethic.
