Federal Tax ID and State Tax Exempt Numbers



Your school's Federal Tax ID Number is a nine-digit number that is issued on a district level. Digital Wish needs this number for two reasons:

1. We can only give grants to 501(c)3 non-profit organizations. Every non-profit has a Federal Tax ID number.
2. To prove schools are tax exempt, many states require either the Federal Tax ID or a separate State Tax Exempt Number.

Once collected, the numbers are stored and always kept private. Some schools prefer to fax this information to Digital Wish directly at 845-402-7242.
