Teacher will:

Purpose: Students are always asking, “Why do I need to know this?” The objective is for students to see how geometry is at work in their everyday lives. Visually showing “Why they need to know this.”
Procedure:

2. Students will demonstrate understanding of the concepts through discussion and provided lessons from the book
3. Students and teacher will go around the building, inside and out, to take pictures of the shapes, angles, lines, and 3D figures in use
4. Students will use the computer lab to print pictures
5. Students will create a collage displaying their findings and correctly labeling geometric concepts in the collage
6. Students will present their collage to the class
Assessment: Student collages will be presented in lieu of a test
