		| Planned By: David Pendleton |
		| Original Author: David Pendleton, Salt Lake Cty | Teachers could get in touch with other classes on the same grade level (by contacting districts) around the state, around the country, or even around the world, and become “Flip Friends” with them. Classes could show how it is where they are, and students would have the opportunity to witness places around the world through the eyes of kids their age (and they might realize that they aren’t too different!). They could ask them certain questions, share stories or projects, or just chat with these other classes through relayed videos.Classes could also send questions to local or national businesses (“business buddies”) or leaders (governors, senators, the president) and ask them to respond by video whenever possible.
Ideally, Digital Wish or Flip could even set up a community website where teachers could go and find and then connect with other classes from around the world according to grade level or subject area, or even preferred language of communication.
