Brilliant appI always liked lookin at stars an never knew much bout em. But i loved looking. This app is simply amazing for those wishing to learn an gaze. Sadly sometimes the whole screen goes a tint red (everythibg still visible an usable). I fix it by reinstalling. Which takes no time for me. If you searched this particular app up an know what to expect, you cant go wrong with it.

Better maps than Sky MapThe Detailed maps are worth the price. Only thing is panning the sky is disabled unless you enable it with the eyeball icon at the top. Should be enabled by default.

Almost perfectThe panning speed is much too fast when panning with your finger. Since user interface is everything for an app like this, this is a deal breaker. It's a great app otherwise but this makes it too frustrating to use. For now I'm still using Google sky map, which is a much lesser app indeed. I look forward to a fix. UPDATE: It seems that the panning speed is only too fast in portrait orientation. The panning speed is quite acceptable in landscape orientation. I would now call this a minor bug and have added 1 star, but I'm still hoping for a fix soon.

Not working on Samsung S3This a terrific app, worked great on my HTC Desire, just upgraded to S3 - app loads but does not move as I rotate or spin phone.

star chartit's an awesome app but I feel it could have more. I use this and sky map together to star gaze. this is pretty similar to the iphones "Star Walk" app which I'd gladly pay for on android. the options to get more info on a star/object is great.

Please fix set time function GMTSet time button is too small and when missed, it bring up menu which is annoying Also set time reverts to GMT. Ex: my time is 11am. When press set time, it uses GMT time which is 6am. This makes it difficult to calculate the time Other than that. Its a great app

Works excelent now!Thx for fixing most of the issues :) For perfect score fix location on gps so it knows your exact location from where u r at. It is asking you to input ur cordinates. U SHOULD NOT HAVE TO lol. Thx for fast update :)

Excellent with a few minor glitches.Used it to track the Venus Transit and solar eclipse and it was remarkably accurate in terms of the relative visual size of the various objects. I noticed that Saturn's rings are inside out...

Just about fixed on BionicThe rotation problem is fixed, but with a small bug.. For example, I start the app in portrait and change to landscape. The menu stays in portrait unless I press the "Back" button. I press "Stay" and the menu shifts to landscape. I can live with it, but still awkward. .

Something to considerI like this app, but what I would love is if we could see what the sky would look like on a particular day and time. Like see where the planets and the sun will be or have been, or what the sky will look like at sunset on a particular day.

Great,But could do with some more pictures of stars clusters etc. Perhaps also some fun facts (religious, historical and so on) instead of just the dry facts. As it is, it's really just a prettier version of google sky maps (although a lot prettier).

Problem with GPSCouldn't tell if app was using GPS. I had to move about 15 degrees off to see the moon and Venus on the screen when I was facing the moon.

Great app! I hope there are updates.The features are awesome and seem to be what Sky map was on track to be until Google stopped working on it. I wouldn't mind if it loaded a bit quicker and the sensor smoothing was a bit better. Sometimes the onscreen info-pane buttons are a bit tough to push correctly. Great app overall though!

Very good app, excellent with a couple improvements.Love it! Please have the default screen set to night. There's nothing worse than having your eyes adjusted to the darkness and then being blinded when the app starts and if possible add some sort of stabilization to it.

Beautiful and functionalIt is a wonderful app. I just wish the frame rates were better. I was comparing this to an app in my friends ipad and his was so much smoother, but my phone has more processing power and a smaller screen to drive. One big issue is that the stars etc are very off. On my phone they showed to be 20 off (easterly) from where the really were. This was using the moon as a reference. But, Sky Maps is very accurate, so it's not my phone. Love the app though. That is way I bought it

Good, but...Good AR star map, but frustrating that it restarts whenever you re-access it, affecting your night-vision. Needs to multitask correctly. Also needs to be fully offline. Dark, remote areas do not have connectivity.

Good Tool.Great tool for astrophotography. Let me find the Milky Way easily. But force closes few times. Reduced one star. Samsung Galaxy S2.
