Not really free.Poorly arranged layout. Hard to find basic words like hello. You have to sign up and pay to get real access. They do not state this before you download. The other Dutch language app is much better and Free!

It's so-so.I took German for 3 years and wanted to keep working on it. Some of the pronunciations and spellings are entirely off. Like 2 is zwei in german but they have it as twee. The voice recognizing doesn't work that well.

Needs improvement.There aren't that many words to learn for each subject. The speaker's accent is atrocious. Other than that, it's a good app.

Wildfire sIt's very hard to learn the way its being taught. You get to see a picture, you have too repeat the word, then spell it rite away. Should learn how to pronounce first then worry about the spelling!

ChristianGreat app, very effective in its methods to reinforce new words into your vocabulary. Basically the same process as Rosetta Stone. My only real qualm is that there's no grammatical instruction, just vocabulary. Other than that, awesome. I've purchased a teach yourself series grammar book for that though. All and all a great compliment to your studies.

A little frustrating.Changing my review from 3* to 4*.Although it has trouble understanding my pronunciation,&native Dutch speakers don't,I put this down to mic use.If there's any background noise,or the Mic is not in just the right position,that's a "0" score.The vocab is excellent as are the exercises.If the Mic issue were sorted,&that's a hardware not a software matter,I'd rate this at 5*.I get frustrated at the app's failure to recognise what I'm saying,&I already speak some Dutch.It must be infuriating for new students.

Very good indeedThis application really helps me on my dutch learning process. However sometimes the mic doesnt work. I tried saying the word hundred times and it gives me 0 everytime. Not sure if my pronunciation really is that bad or it's the program. Anyway for the reviewer that gave this app 1 star because it is not similar to ur deutch lesson, news flash, this is dutch and NOT deutch! You'd better check twice before u give bad review to a perfectly good app.

Great app!Ive installed and uninstalled so many poor apps for learning Dutch, that I wasnt expecting much when I installed this one. But its great - by far the best vocabulary learning app Ive found so far! Especially since it has both basic and advanced vocabulary. So many apps only have very very basic vocabulary, but this one takes you further too. Ive been learning Dutch on and off for a few years now, but this is really helping me lots of useful vocabulary, and fast! Definitely recommend this app, both to beginners and intermediate.

Nice startI always wanted to start learning Dutch and this app helped me so much. And when I read some older comment, I had to laugh. How can someone download Dutch learning app and then complain about wrong German? It's Dutch, not Deutsch!

Love it!Once you use settings to adjust your mic its really quite good. Mix of recall and spelling with quick fun games. Great fist steps into the language to get a feel for it.
