Class Description:
I am the only English I teacher at my school. We cover grammar, writing, spelling, vocabulary, reading, communication, listening, speaking, research, and media. Most of my students are economically disadvantaged, and they are seeking so much more than a credit in English.
English teacher/CurriculumCoach
I am currently in need of any product that will enhance language arts instruction and/or foster reading and vocabulary.
My Philosophy:
I believe all students are capable of reaching their full potential when teachers mix a rigorous academic experience with high expectations and personal encouragement. My goal is to create a program that offers every student books and reading material geared to their individual interests.

Why Do I Teach?:
The range of emotions felt by a teacher on any given day ricochets between discouragement and hope. No other job makes you feel ancient, inadequate, and insane while also filling your heart with such immense joy and awe that your whole being is brimming with passion, love, and understanding. I teach because I long to foster a passion for learning, thinking, and creating. I watch the future form, and I have the privilege to be but a small part of a thousand tomorrows without having to live beyond today.
