I teach English courses 9-12, including AP Language & Composition, AP Literature & Composition, World Literature, and American Literature.

My Philosophy:
All students can learn and achieve, we just need to find the right way to teach them. By utilizing every resource available, each and every student can tap into their skills and create an opportunity for learning.
Personal Information:
About Me:
I am a wife and mother of three. I am teaching in the same town where I grew up. In fact, I currently teach at my alma mater. I love my school and the students that walk the halls.
College and Degrees:
I attended Appalachian State University where I studied secondary education. I received my BA in English from UNC Greensboro, my MA in Reading Education at NC A & T State University, and my Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Gardner-Webb University.
Activities:

I teach to ensure that we continue to build citizens that are inclusive, compassionate, and empathy.
