Students per Class: 80
Class Description:
I teach 4th grade Reading and Science as well as 5th grade Science. We switch classes so I teach about 80 students a day. We are always looking for that next project or experience to add to our classroom!
Position:
ITRT
Needs:
We need technology our students can use to reach out to other schools and our community. We need flip cameras to record our lessons to share with others.
My Philosophy:
Tell me and I will forget. Show me and I may remember. Involve me and I will understand. Getting students out of their seats and involved in meaningful interactions is my teaching philosophy.

About Me:
This is my fourth year of teaching in my county. I absolutely love it and interacting with my students.
College and Degrees:
I attended Longwood University and graduated in 2006 with a degree in Liberal Studies. I am qualified to teach NK-5th and also 6th-8th grade Science and Social Studies.
Activities:
I volunteer for our area Habitat for Humanity
