Personal Information:
About Me:
I am a kindergarten teacher with thirty years of experience. I love being in the classroom and working with children. Each year is a new experience.
College and Degrees:
B.S. Major in elementary education with a kindergarten endorsement. Graduated from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas.

I spent most of my college time studying. I had to go to college on a grant so it was very important that I kept up my grades.
Favorite Books:
I like children's books. Examples: Dr. Seuss, Eric Carle books.
Favorite Quotes:
If at first you don't succeed try, try, try again.
Interests:
I like to garden. Being in the yard cutting grass or working in flowerbeds is therapy for me.
Employment History:
I am retired from the Avoyelles Parish public school system. Since retirement, I have worked in the Alexandria Diocese Catholic school system.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I love children and because I feel that I can help children become better citizens. I think I have what it takes to educate the children of today so that they may be productive individuals in the future.
