Motivation Watch 20 min. video “The History of Photography”

Accountable Talk What would society have done without photography? What effects has photography had on our culture?

Group Activity In cooperative learning groups, students will go online and research the “History of Photography”.

Technology They will design a Timeline on the “History of Photography” using three resources. The Internet, the textbook and the video. Where are we today on the photo timeline? Digital photography.

Critical Thinking Skills What do you think the future of photo is? Invent a futuristic camera and include it in your timeline.

Student Involvement Student will work together on the timeline while having individual responsibilities.
