Words through pictures

1. Students choose three topics from a list: animals, plants, weather, scenery, emotions.

2. Students are assigned a partner. They must photograph things within their category. This can come from outside, magazines, or photos of people.

3. They download these into our computers and retrieve other pictures with the same topic.

4. After they have created a collage, they are to list 10 words that describe their pictures.

5. using a thesaurus, they must find a synonym for each word.


Adv: Write a paragraph using four synonyms that they just learned.
