School Newspaper in Spanish

Students will become familiar with the podcasting software and will weekly podcast in Spanish a news section that will cover the major events happening both at school and in the community. Higher level Spanish students as well as the Spanish club will collaborate in this news section. Accountability will be an important factor to consider in this activity, students will be assigned a section to work in one week ahead. A mailbox for questions and suggestions will be placed in Spanish classrooms, so that the targetted audience can interact and request topics relevant to their school life and their culture. Parents will be requested to provide feedback as well and will be able to support their children more properly at school, since they will be better informed in their native language.
Every Friday our students will podcast the news section and they will receive the assignments for the coming Friday.
