Students break into teams to shoot scenes that will evoke memories of the school for the yearbook. For example, maybe a corridor, entryway, sign or other place in the school that students see everyday but take for granted. Some winning pictures have included the bathroom entryways, the hallways, lockers and the school entrance. Students may use photo editing to enhance pictures or be creative. For instance, the school's mascot painted in the entryway was changed into a line drawing to use on the yearbook cover. Students present their best work to the class for peer review using a projector and eventually the top several pictures are selected for inclusion on special pages of the yearbook.
