Using Newspapers Across the Curriculum

Students begin with note taking skills.

Then, they are taught how to interview.

Then, they learn how to organize, edit, and write various types of news columns.

Then it's "Lights, Camera, Action!" Students get opportunities to interview teachers, classmates, and business partners, then do a picture collage for the school's bulletin board.
