Public Service Announcement Podcast

Step 1: Students will be place in groups of approximately 5 individuals.

Step 2: Using the internet to access the school website, groups will look up information regarding important announcements, upcoming events, or any other information that could be included in a Public Service Announcement podcast, related to the school.

Step 3: Groups and teacher will work together to organize information into a script to be recorded as a public Service Announcement podcast.

Step 4: Using the Tool Factory Podcasting software, groups will record and create an entertaining Public Service Announcement podcast to be broadcasted over the school intercom system.

Step 5: Groups will burn a copy of their podcasts to CD-R’s.

Step 6: Teacher or whole class will listen to the various podcasts and vote for their favorite.

Step 7: The winning podcast will be submitted to the principal to be broadcast over the school intercom system during the school’s weekly announcements. The winning podcast can also be uploaded to the school website.
