Students will discover the value of Podcasting by using the technology to benefit others. Students will first expolre what podcasting is under teacher supervision. They will learn about mp3s, storage mediums, and web page streaming. Studnts will then take a recording device and a book used in the language arts classess and record it. The student will then encode the recording into an mp3 and store it on the server. The student will also include images from books in the podcast if relevant. Grading will be based on a rubric developed on the final product.
