Students will be given a job, monthly expenses, and budgeting task. They will develop a budget for one month including: food, rent, childcare, automobile, and other expenses.

Students will find job on www.careerzone.com
They will create a monthly budget, research automobile costs on www.cars.com
Budget groceries using a Down to the Last Penny webquest
Create a spreadsheet of monthly expenses and manage a checkbook
Develop a digital story of their experience
Extend their studies to the local, national, and global distribution of wealth including: minimum wage, child labor, food supply shortages, etc.
