Students will be put into groups of 4 (depending on how many digital cameras are available)

Each group will be given stuffed animals.

Students will travel around the school placing the animal in different situations and take pictures.

When the students return to the classroom, they will download the pictures and import them into Powerpoint.

The students will then write a story based on their stuffed animals' adventure. The students will be require to have the components of a good story (setting, characters, problem, climax, solution)

The group will proofread and edit the story.

Students will then use a computer microphone or digital recorders to narrate the story.

After the story is completed, the story will be burned to a DVD as well as printed out and put into a book to be shared with younger students in our school. We will put the DVD in the back of each book. We will also make copies to bring to the children's ward of our local hospital so they may listen and watch. The stories will also be recorded for podcasting on our classroom site.
