Objective: Students will share with parents, that live far from the boarding school, sporting events and create podcast.

Standards: Student will learn speech, using a flip camera, and editing.

Anticipatory Set: "Student you will get to create video and podcast to share with parents about the success of our sports players."

Teaching: Input: Students need flip phones, computers, and lessons of how to podcast.

Teaching: Modeling: Once material has been presented, the teacher uses it to show students examples of what is expected as an end product of their work. Students will learn from modeling how to problem-solving, comparison and summarizing.

Teaching:checking for Understanding: Before proceeding first check to see if students, "got it," it very important that student practice and understand the proceeding. Students will create a mock sports event that will be presented to other students.

Guided Practice: Students will work through an activity or exercise under the teacher's direct supervision. The teacher will moves around the room to determine the level of mastery and to provide individual remediation as needed.

Closure: To help students network with parents, staff, and peers.
