Students will learn the skills necessary to use a digital camera. We will focus on settings, pixels, flash, etc.

Students will learn photography composition and how to capture great moments.

Students will learn how to use card readers and upload photos.

Students will learn how to use the yearbook software and create a yearbook.

Students will learn to edit and write captions for the yearbook.

This is our first year of having students create a yearbook. Currently, we share 1 cameras and are trying to learn all of the necessary skills. We REALLY need help to get cameras into the students hands. Students need to have a camera in their hands to be able to practice taking photos and learn the necessary photgraphy skills

Taking photos and writing stories or poems

Materials: Flash/USB Drives, Digital SLR, Point and Shoot, Tripods, Batteries
Other Items: 20 memory cards, $10.00 each, total of $200.00
10 Point and shoot cameras (like Sony Cybershot or Cannon), $125.00 each, total of $1250.00
2 tripods, $30.00 each, total of $60.00
10 sets of batteries, $5.00 each, total of $50.00
