Students work in groups to research a CDV. Each group has a differenct CDV. Each group has to find at lease 6 facts about their CDV and write down how each fact relates to them. Then they have to write out their facts and relationships to song. Each member has to memorize their songs and each group has to present their song to the class. Their goal is that the song be catchy enough that the other students come away from their presentation singing or humming the song.

Students have to create a method of introducing their songs in the presentations. They can do a skit, power point, or puppet show type presentation around their song. Students could also bring in musical instruments to play along with their group, or use the karaoke version of a song to have background music. They also have the option of choregraphing the song.

After each presentation we will sing the previous songs so the entire class learns all the CDV's.

At the end we will review for two days, performing our songs for other classes, and then take a test over all the CDV's.

We would love to be able to video tape the songs and post them to School Tube! :)
