Objectives: Students will be able to differinate between what the roles of the city, county, state, and country are. Students will also be able to identify what make their city, county, state, and or country unique through the use of technology. Students will be able to compare and contrast their city, county, state, and or country to other places. Students will create a movie, powerpoint presentation, song or jingle, talk show, travel guide,podcast, and a model of the city, county, state, and or country.

Whole Group Instruction: Teacher will show a video of a city, state, and or country off of united streaming.
Student will chart the similarity of the video to their surrounding. Teacher and students will use various graphic organizer to discuss the unique differences between what a city, county, state, and country are.

Group Activity:
students will be place in group. Each group will become expert on either their city, county, state, and or country. The groups will develop a powerpoint, model, movie or taped talk show, travel guide, and a podcast of either their city, coutny, state, and or country. Each group should take digital picture of unique places. They must record their movie or talk show. Students must come up with a song or a jingle about their chosen place. Model should include a map key. And project should be creative.

Presentation: Students will present their project to teachers, classmates, lower elementary, and parents
