Pre-production components: Students find and research a song made before 1982 and write a one-page (3 paragraph treatment) describing their understanding of the lyrics and how they will go about shooting the video.

After the treatment (summary) is submitted, students draw a 20 shot storyboard of the shots used in the video.

Students shoot a 20 shot or (3 minute) video using the original song. The video is edited in I-Movie and the final video is submitted for a grade. An accompanying rubric is used for the final grade.
Materials: Video Cameras, Flash Memory Camcorders, Flip Video, DVD Camcorder, Hi-Def Camcorder, Camera/Video Accessories, Camera Bags, Flash/USB Drives, Tripods, Batteries, Memory Cards, CDs and DVDs, Cables, Computer Accessories, LCD Monitors, Large Pro Monitors, Power, Keyboards, Headsets, Mice, Bags and Cases, Ports and Hubs, Video Tools
