Video Yearbook

Beginning in September, I am planning on meeting with students that are interested in this project. We will make a list of all of the things they want to include in this yearbook first. Then on our "club" days we will go around the school and take pictures of the things that we want to include. For instance, we will be raising trout this year in science, so we will include photos when the eggs come, etc. If there is an assembly, we will take photos of the assembly, if there is a special project in someone's class, or even candid shots in the cafeteria and during recess. I am planning on having them use my own personal digital camera, which doesn't hold many photos. We are also going to use either photostory or windows movie maker to creat a digital story with the photos that we accumulate. As this is a new project for me, I am not sure what else to plan for. We would also like to create podcasts to go along with the photos, as someone will have to narrate. We will hopefully, also be able to add music in the end. As fifth grade is the end of their elementary career, there will be other special privleges such as, spirit club trips and and a field trip to Niagara Falls.
