Mini iPads For Kindergarten

Students will use mini iPads to scan QR codes to practice math skills like addition, subtraction, missing numbers and identifying geometrical shapes. Students will do this by walking around the room and finding the next QR code to scan. Movement is great for kindergarten and it can be done independently or with partners. This is also a great tool to encourage socialization, team work and collaboration.

Students will also be able to practice alphabet skills, spelling, reading and retelling of stories using story boards and other apps.

Students will also be able to make and create projects. Which promote creativity and critical thinking. This is one of the major reasons for wishing for the mini iPads I think this is a great tool that can can be modified to meet the needs of individual students.

Students will also be able to learn about, science, social studies and art on the mini iPads.


Also being a bilingual teacher there are not many resources for my students this would be a great tool, that would increase engagement and academic advancements. Students would also start to be exposed to a rich English Language.
