When I am teaching a math concept, such as adding fractions, in which some students may not grasp, I will ask students to rehearse at home how they could explain solving a specific fraction problem. Then, the next day I would video tape a "student-teacher" explaining how to add fractions. One lesson would be said in English and another lesson would be said in Spanish. Then I would download the lesson onto my classroom computers. Then students who need additional help can view it on the computer. Another option, if you have the hardware, is to burn the lesson onto a dvd disk. Then students can bring the dvd disk home to review the lesson at home as many times as they need.
