Because of the lack of funding for digital media in the classroom and gearing our students toward career-readiness and real world skills, we are reaching out to the public for resources in this field. With the economy in its present state and the public school system fairing even worse, it has been difficult to get our broadcast journalism and film classes the real 21st century tools that are used today. We still need help raising an ambitious amount of money to fund our program and annual film festival event in May 2015. Luckily today with websites like this, we can find sponsors in an untraditional, but awesome way.
