The engineering classes at our school are using a CAD program to design and model. One thing that they are designing are their own puzzle cubes. Later in the year, they will be designing more complex pieces. We would like to be able to create our puzzle cube pieces on a 3-D printer. This gives the students a better idea of how their design work translates into a finished product (and what information and precision is really needed for it to work correctly).
