My goal is to create a technology enriched environment for my literacy classroom. My wish is to have a classroom set of laptops. Many of my students are reading below grade level. Having this technology will allow me to implement effective literacy programs and activities that will increase fluency, comprehension, and word analysis skills. This technology will also enable me to more effectively challenge my advanced learners. This technology will be used throughout my daily instruction. With this technology, my students will complete their daily assignments through websites such as Edmodo. My students will also academically collaborate with their school mates and peers across the United States via blogs, and websites such as Newsela. This technology will also better prepare my students for state testing.
